Waynetown -- Dallas Livingston, 59, died at 8:25 a.m. Monday in his home here after an illness of 3 years. Mr. Livingston had been a farmer in the Hillsboro area until he moved here in 1959. He was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church. He was educated in Wingate and Veedersburg. A native of the Wingate area he was born Aug 25, 1908 to Joseph and Stella Swank Livingston. He was married at Covington March 6, 1932 to Mildred McElwee. Surviving are the widow; a son Joseph; three daughters, Mrs. Gene Grubbs; Mrs. Edward George and Mrs. Wallace Abbott; two brothers, Merle of Veedersburg and Bill of Waynetown; two sisters, Miss Myrtle Livingston of Veedersburg and Mrs. Charles Bannon of Chicago and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Servies Funeral Home here with Rev. James Whitaker officiating. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday. - kbz
